At Vins El Cep we present Blanc de Negres, our new Single Estate Cava from the Can Prats site, located within our estate in the Penedès. This cava originates from the first Pinot Noir vineyard we planted in 1990, a pioneering decision on our estate that over time has proven its ability to express the character of our territory. For many years, this vineyard produced the well-known Mim Blanc de Noirs, which now evolves to give way to a new interpretation of this site. A winery with its own identity that today looks ahead under the leadership of the second generation This year we celebrate the 45th anniversary of Vins el Cep, reaffirming the vocation with which it was born: to craft wines and sparkling wines that authentically and excellently express our Espiells terroirs, the historic vineyard area where the project took root. Since 1980, the winery has upheld a firm commitment to the land and to respecting the viticultural landscape. The project emerged from the union of four wine-growing families from Sant Llorenç d’Hortons and Gelida: the Carreras (Can Prats), Esteve (Can Simon), Masana (Can Castany), and Parera (Can Miquel de les Planes).
