Espiells, November 14th 2023. The Malvasia de Sitges week has been the ideal setting for the presentation of this very special wine by the winery. Les Madones is a tribute to the women of all times who with their strength and passion have given life to this land of wine, and have helped to make wine an integral part of our culture.
Las Madones, a Malvasia Sitges planted at Can Prats, stands out for its special production. The carbonic maceration helps to enhance the aromatic intensity and gives it complexity and uniqueness. Subsequent ageing in demijohns has helped to exploit the acidity and freshness of the Malvasia even more.Vino sin filtrar y de mínima intervención.
Intense golden colour. It has a slight cloudiness due to the fact that it is an unfiltered wine.
Aromatically, very intense, presence of ripe fruit with hints of tropical fruit and orellana. Floral part that can remind us of the “garriga mediterránea”. Soft notes of honey, balsamic and tender almonds.
Intense, direct and robust on the palate. Tannic hints are present due to the contact with the skins and the carbonic maceration. Citrus notes, very marked acidity and a very persistent finish.
