Fermentation in barrel, terroir wine made from old vines. These 70-year-old deep-rooted vines feed from chalky soil, bringing out the maximum expression of the xarel·lo variety. Pure elegance and wealth of nuances.

Fermented entire, with the snuff, the husk, the pulp and the bone, during three weeks in barrels of 600 l. of chestnut tree, to low temperature. After pressing, it remains for 9 months with the mothers in second year French oak barrels.

Fermentation and maceration in 600l barrels during 15 days. Aging in 250l. French oak barrels of third and fourth year for 9 months. Mineral, round and elegant.
100% Xarel·lo Vermell
Pla del Bosc is the first still wine we made using concrete eggs during the final part of fermentation and subsequent aging. The egg shape and the structure of the concrete help us to keep the mothers in suspension and achieve a more expressive wine, with more personality and character. We also elaborate a brisée part to achieve more complexity. The result is a wine of minimal intervention where we manage to express the uniqueness of the Xarel-lo Vermell and maintain the typicality of the variety.
