Treat yourself to a special day in El Penedès, surrounded by vineyards, cooking, and history!

FIRST STEP: VINEYARDS AND WINERY
Start the morning at Vins el Cep, a winery with roots dating back to 1448. Learn about the history of the union of four winemaking families and their estates. Walk through vineyards and forests, explore our winery, and enjoy a wine and cava tasting in the privileged surroundings of Espiells.

SECOND STEP: CULINARY EXPERIENCE WITH IDENTITY
At midday, enjoy lunch at the restaurant El Cigró d’Or, where chef Oriol Llavina brings Catalan cuisine to life using local, seasonal products. A warm and welcoming space located at the Vilafranca del Penedès Meat Market. El Cigró d’Or is a safe bet for food lovers.

THIRD STEP: HISTORY AND CULTURE OF WINE
Just a two-minute walk away, end the day with a visit to VINSEUM, the Museum of the Cultures of Wine in Catalonia. This newly renovated museum is located in a former house-palace in Vilafranca del Penedès. A fascinating journey through 3,000 years of winemaking history. https://vinseum.cat/es/

The activity includes:

1. Guided tour of the Vins el Cep winery, Espiells: Vineyard + winery + Tasting of 2 wines and 2 cavas (11:00-13:00).
2. Lunch at El Cigró d’Or Restaurant, Vilafranca del Penedès (14:00-16:00).
3. Visit to Vinseum, Vilafranca del Penedès (16:00-19:00).

*Transportation between activities is the visitor’s responsibility. However, the winery can help arrange public transport.
*The Vinseum activity does not include a glass. A glass can be offered for an additional 3€.
