These are our wines and sparkling wines that Peñín has deemed excellent for the year 2025, scoring between 90 and 94 out of 100:

  • Pét-Nat XRL·LO 2023 – 92 points. 100% Xarel·lo. A sparkling wine made with minimal intervention using the ancestral method. Captures the essence and expression of Xarel·lo with its primary aromas.
  • Vinya El Pastor 2019 – 94 points. 100% Xarel·lo. A sparkling wine with minimal intervention made using the ancestral method with aging, from an exceptional vintage in Penedès. The aging notes combine with the character of the grape, sourced from El Pastor, a very old vineyard. Limited edition.
  • Les Madones, Malvasia de Sitges 2023 – 93 points. Carbonic maceration followed by aging in demijohns. A unique wine, intensely aromatic with marked acidity. Minimal intervention.
  • Brisats Xarel·lo 2023 – 92 points. 50% Xarel·lo and 50% Xarel·lo Vermell. Fermented with full skins in chestnut barrels. After pressing, it remains 9 months on the lees in second-year French oak barrels. Despite its strength as a skin-contact wine, it is remarkably delicate. Minimal intervention.
  • Clot del Roure 2023 – 92 points. 100% Xarel·lo. Barrel-fermented, a terroir-driven wine from old vines with deep roots and calcareous soil, delivering the purest expression of Xarel·lo. Pure elegance and richness of nuance. Minimal intervention.
  • Pla del Bosc 2023 – 93 points. 100% Xarel·lo Vermell. End of fermentation and aging in concrete egg. A minimal-intervention wine that expresses the uniqueness and maintains the typicity of this revived variety.
